What does TP mean in Minecraft?

TP, or teleport, is a Minecraft command that is part of the game’s cheat list. With it, it is possible to redefine the position of a player, be it their own or another within the world, or an entity, anywhere on the map, using coordinates or subcommands. The method allows you to reduce travel time, especially in large worlds. Instead of walking, you can cut through, or bring a player you want to interact with closer.

  • Step 8. The X and Z coordinates determine the distance to which the player will be teleported, while Y determines their height. In the “Java Edition” version there is no menu to assist the player, however, the written command can be used normally;
  • Step 9. Instead of the player’s name, it is possible to use certain commands, such as /tp @a to teleport all players, /tp @e for all entities, /tp @p for the closest player, /tp @ r for a random player and /tp @s to select yourself without having to type your player name. Don’t forget to complete with the coordinates, such as “/tp @s 200 100 300”.

  • Step 1. The only item capable of teleportation in Survival mode is the “Ender Pearls” or “End Pearl”, obtained by killing Enderman monsters;
  • Step 2. Wait for nightfall as Enderman only appears in the dark, which also includes caves. They are a little strong, in addition to having the ability to teleport to surprise the player. Initially, their behavior is neutral, until the player looks them in the eye or attacks them, which can make them quite aggressive. Hit them in the legs and don’t try to use arrows;
  • Step 3. It is recommended to have at least armor and an iron sword to face them. There is a way to protect yourself, however, by creating an open structure just two blocks tall. As Enderman are tall, three blocks tall, they do not enter through these spaces and the player can still hit them;
  • Step 4. After defeating an Enderman, they will occasionally drop an Ender Pearl;
  • Step 5. Place the pearl among your items, point it up, and press the interaction button to throw it. Your character will be teleported to the location where the pearl lands and will take some damage from the teleport.
